About us 

The Robotics Research Group, is a team made up of students and professors who are passionate about robotics and its use in the construction of a better world. SIR has as its center of operations the Robotics Laboratory of the Universidad Autonoma de Occidente, a place where we deal with issues related to agriculture and mobility related to autonomous cars, in addition to this, we build and use robots to transform the world while we we have fun Finally, we are assigned to the Research Group in Remote Control and Distributed Control Systems, GitCoD.

Mission

The mission of the Robotics Research Group is to develop intelligent systems that contribute to the solution of urgent problems of Colombian society, particularly in the agricultural and transport sector, through the application of internationally used tools and labor. collective among students, teachers and industry.

Overview

To be a student research group recognized nationally and internationally for leading urban and rural transformation processes through pioneering technologies such as robotics and intelligent systems. Achieving with the above, for the year 2022, a sponsorship that mostly comes from private and state entities.
